World Cancer Day – 4th February 2011

World Cancer Day
4th February 2011

For some reason we’ve missed this event, but better late than never.

World Cancer Day is marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. It is led by the International Union Against Cancer, a global consortium of much more than 350 cancer-fighting organizations in over 100 countries. World Cancer Day targets the public through global communications marketing, and encourages policy makers and UICC member organizations to create cancer a political priority.
