There are awesome movies, then there are bad movies. For the really good ones, we always tend to get more digging to know about the film, how was it made, and in this case, was it originated from a book? Indeed, some of the famous and popular movies you’ve seen in the past were inspired from books written years and sometimes decades before. The plot of both book and movies were not entirely the same, which is understandable, as directors and producers tend to get creative with the way stories are told. Nonetheless, you’ll see similarities and a whole lot of understanding on where the movie got its idea from. In this video you’ll find 17 movies you didn’t know were adapted from books. Enjoy!

Some of the movies included are Bridget Jones’ Diary (2001), 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), She’s The Man (2006), Die Hard (1988), Mrs Doubtfire (1993), Jaws (1975), Shrek (2001), The Birds (1963), Homeward Bound (1963/1993), Forrest Gump (1994) and many more.
