Stuck Inside

Stuck Inside

As parents ourselves we found it extremely difficult to explain what was going on during lockdown in the United Kingdom to our young children. We didn’t want to go in to the full scientific explanations of what a virus was, but we wanted to explain why they weren’t able to go and see/hug their family or friends in a calm yet cohesive way. We hope that we’ve been able to achieve this and wanted to share it with other parents.

A book about Coronavirus lockdown in the United Kingdom written for young children to help them understand what is going on and why it’s important to stay indoors. Written and illustrated by parents of young children who were finding it hard to convey to them why we were having to stay indoors and away from friends and family.

‘This was originally written for our two year old girl – and we have read it a few times now and she is loving hunting for rainbows and also starting to understand a few more reasons why we stay inside.’ – Danzzig87
