Siti and Cahya

Siti and Cahya

Join Siti and Cahya as they embark on an adventure of a lifetime where they discover the importance of love, friendship, respect, and the beauty that lies within the magical rainforests of Southeast Asia. Siti is a 10-year-old girl who lives in a small village in Borneo, Malaysia. One day after wandering into the jungle, Siti becomes lost and is unable to find her way home until she is rescued by Cahya, a small gibbon who has also lost her family. During their adventure together, Siti and Cahya form a friendship and bond that teaches the importance of compassion and the preservation of wild animals and the rainforests that they call home.

Gina Munir is a primatologist that studies gibbon and siamang behavior, conservation, and welfare. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Biological Anthropology. She has worked and studied at multiple zoological institutions and has completed fieldwork in the beautiful countries of Southeast Asia. Gina loves animals and enjoys spending her time at home on the farm with her human and animal family.
