Brand Strategy in 5 Steps

Brand Strategy in 5 Steps

The brand strategy seems to be the new thing, but really it’s been out there for a long time. I started investigating brand strategy a few years ago, when I read somewhere, ‘design without strategy is just art’. That made me think and began to look for the answer to strategy. I audit courses in Coursera, I read lots of blogs and bought many books. I got confused. Everybody understands strategy differently, but in essence, it’s all the same. It’s a guide to refer, to keep your brand consistent and coherent.

A brand strategy is compound to internal branding, things you don’t show to your clients and external branding, which includes all the identity.

Another thing to bear in mind is that brands must evolve with the surrounding world, so that strategy has to have room for growth. The world and the customers aren’t static, so don’t think that your brand is something you do once; it’s something that you build with your business.

Last but not least is that there isn’t a fast track if anyone tells you that you can build your brand in a few weeks, most likely they are lying. A brand is built through the years, and that is why it is so difficult to prove the ROI. But have a leap of faith and stick with the plan, and you will see it grow.

So, I said five steps to building a brand, not five minutes! So roll your sleeves because we are getting started right away!
