A Cold Embrace - The Journey to The Unknown

“Where does happiness lie? In the calm of nothingness or in the retreat to our inner corridors? In the peace of the void, or in the shadows of the corner? A Cold Embrace – The Journey to The Unknown is a brief anthology of poems that illustrates the arguments for life, and also death. A peek into the dark thoughts of a soul, just trying to be at peace. This is a 16 page PDF ebook that consists of 6 poems including the epigraph and epilogue. Fọlábòmí’s journey with poetry began on the 13th of July, 2018; the day he wrote his first ever poem. It started as an interest, then a hobby, then an art, and then finally into a means to make money. Poetry is just his way of talking to the world in the easiest form he can. Poetry can be therapeutic; poetry can also be painful. Poetry is love; yet poetry is also sadness. He hopes his poems will give you reasons to feel all these emotions, and more.
