Toggle is a design / art experiment. Each issue is based on a theme that is picked at random and then explored by two artists. The artist develop work based on the theme separately at first. They then create new work from the individual pieces. However, they do this together, piece by piece, back and forth, each one adding to the work from individual pieces until the artists decide it is finished. The idea of working together, back and forth is meant to inspire artistic growth and brings new ideas to the surface. That’s the theory any way.
